Our manager, Pauline Campbell, will be attending the 14th ALA Conference in Hobart during May, 2022.  This year's program will include presentations from speakers from Belgium, Germany, USA and Australia.

As an exhibitor of the Lymph-O-Fit compression bra, the conference will be an opportunity for Pauline to reacquaint with colleagues and make new connections, as well as hear about all the latest industry news, products and services.

Yes, it is a worry, and no-one wants to have to go back to the really strict limitations.

Rest assured that when you visit the Salon we are taking steps to minimise any risks.

We will see you by appointment, to ensure the shop does not become overcrowded and give us time to clean and sanitise surfaces and touch points before you arrive. We will be maintaining Covid-19 compliance.

When you arrive for your appointment, we’ll ask you to confirm that you are not experiencing any Covid-19 symptoms.

Let’s work together to make your Leila O’Toole experience a positive one.  Please call us on (02) 9231 1705.  We’d love to hear from you.

CARING FOR YOUR NEW BRA

22/2/2019

Using a lingerie bag and closing the fasteners are the best ways to keep your lingerie safe in the wash. You may prefer to hand wash, but most lingerie can be washed at a low temperature of 30° in the washing machine, using the delicate wash cycle.

If your washing machine doesn’t have a delicate wash cycle, use the wash cycle “easy-care” in conjunction with mild detergent. Please do not use fabric softener because it damages the fibres.
Dry your bras on a clothes horse. Never dry them in the dryer, on the radiator or in direct sun light because extreme heat accelerates the wear of fabrics and lace.

who are we?

We're a group of women with a combined total of 180 years of experience in fitting breast care bras and prostheses. But we're more than just names on business cards or voices over the phone.  We all have our stories and some surprising quirks.

MARIE HARLAND is our business owner/Managing Director/CEO/VBL (Very Busy Lady). Born in Ireland, she lived in some amazing places before settling in Sydney. Marie has a great memory for the clients she has met over her 57 years of fitting.

PAULINE CAMPBELL, our store manager ('the Boss") has notched up 50 years of experience, which is amazing because she says she's only 39. She thinks that she deserves a gold watch and a holiday in the Bahamas. Loves a good laugh, her four grandchildren, musical theatre and ballet. And her husband.

JANE BEECH:  Not just a soccer mum to her two sons. Has been a fitter for 28 years. She's energetic - her early ballet training and love of Jazzercise has evolved into pottering in her very own craft shed. She loves arts and crafts and her gorgeous Maremma dog.

SALLY NASR came to Leila O'Toole 4 years ago. She's a doting grandmother, loves to cook (a lot) and cares for her extended family. And she speaks Arabic.

KERRIE McNAMARA has been with us for what seems like forever. She was recently described as "Chief Fixer-Upper" and looks after the Enable lymphoedema management side of the business.  Can be loud at times.
